Gaze with soft eyes into the flame and e x h a l e
Hello wise friend,
There is a delicious regenerative nectar,
waiting for you,
when you enter into,
the realm of the pause.
A pause is time well spent, despite being no bigger than the size of a full stop.
Let’s pause together for a few moments and remind ourselves of a few tender ways we can practice the ritual of pausing and welcome its healing nectar into the landscape of our energy field.
We pause to see if we can pause. Without resistance or complaint.
We pause to blow out three long, weighted sighs. We empty our lungs of old - stuck - stale air and energy. We loosen the inner clenching. Dislodge pockets of stuckness. Lighten our energetic load. Create space to digest life.
We pause to notice the exchange of energy and information between the breath and our body. We gaze into our lungs. Notice the rhythmic opening up to receive on the inhale and emptying out to release on the exhale. We trust in the medicine of our breath.
We pause to take our body for a walk. When we seek natural light and reconnect with nature, we reconnect to ourself.
We pause to practice the ritual of inner body listening. We close our eyes, let them rest (especially the back of the eyes). We turn inwards and ask our body what it needs most, in this moment. We listen - sense - feel. We trust our first impressions. Our body deserves space to be heard.
We pause to feel our beating heart with the palm of our hands. We sense the exchange of healing energy that lives within sacred touch. It guides us. We feel held. Less scattered. We settle back into our heart centre. Reconnect to our inner peace. Once again, we trust in the flow of our life.
We pause to whisper a few kind words (affirmation, blessing, prayer) into our energy field. We soothe the worried mind. Plant seeds to clear and lift our vibration.
We pause because it is time well spent.
We pause because we all need more full stop moments in our day.
We pause because it is an act of kindness offered up to our life.
May the nectar of pausing be your healing ritual.
